The informational part of our BWI evening on 3 July was in the form of a talk aimed at beginners by our own Wessel Wessels. This was a very much condensed version of what he would normally present on a weekend workshop.
He referred to several resources and has provided to links to them for those that would like to dig further into the material.
- Sans Mirror | Thom Hogan – Wessel points out that while there are more Thom Hogan sites, this one will be a good place to start.
- Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, & Light Explained-Understanding Exposure & Camera Settings – a video from Tony and Chelsea Northrup.
- How to Get Proper Exposure – a series of videos from Greg Benz
- Lectures on Digital Photography – a lecture series from Marc Levoy; accompanied by illustrative applets and assignments for you to work through.
